Glynis Barber.

 

Born October 25th 1955 in South Africa Glynis Barbers real name is Glynis Van Der Reit.

At the age of Glynis moved to London with her father. Her parents had divorced years earlier.

Studying at the Mountview Theatre School she acted with the Royal Shakespeare Company.

She married Paul-Anthony Barber but later divorced. As Glynis said in a later interview - she wasn't mature enough and got married too soon.

 Whilst filming Blakes 7 Glynis had an on and off relationship with Steven Pacey who played Tarrant. Their relationship lasted a few years.

Later whilst filming Dempsey and Makepeace a uk cop show she met Michael Brandon. They married on November 18th 1989 in London. Their son Alexander was born on November 21st 1992.
